About Us


Like many other talented chefs before him, his lessons in the kitchen began at an early age. Cosimo Commisso was only four years old when sitting on his grandma’s knees learning how to make fresh pasta. As he grew, Cosimo Commisso’s love for food and wine took him to Europe, where he explored dining experiences in Italy, France, Portugal and Turkey, and Vancouver and Toronto in Canada. Travel, people and food have always fuelled his passion. Because Cosimo Commisso has always preferred telling stories, rather than writing them down, a recipe book by him has yet to be penned. But who knows? Maybe this blog series will serve as an exercise in writing down his recipes, along with his travel, food and wine adventures.
